On Thursday I went over to my friends house for a day filled with drinking tea and knitting. I'd been knitting the same ball of wool for about two years in an attempt to make a scarf. I finally finished said ball of wool, only to realise that I'm going to need about two more until I get to the length I want to. It's my own fault for making the scarf so damn wide. I reckon around Christmas 2016 I'll finish the bloody scarf, by which point I better hope I'm living somewhere cold.
So after a day of sunbathing and being a grandma, we met up with a group of friends for two-for-one cocktails. Safe to say I got drunk, very drunk, but not drunk enough so I forgot my own name. No, that was reserved for freshers week and shall never happen again. Another thing that will never happen again is White Russians, yuk.
Anyway, this is what I wore and I just had to put a choker on after taking these pictures because I felt like I was channeling the 90's so much. My friend even said I looked like a Clueless extra. And, oh so many compliments on my jelly shoes. I remember having pink sparkly Barbie jelly shoes when I was younger and thinking they were the coolest shoes I will ever own. Since then nothing has quite compared to my pink sparkly Barbie jelly shoes, that is except these. I mean they're not as cool but they're so close. If they were better quality then I wouldn't be able to fault them. I've only worn them two or three times and I've already had to super glue them back together which is a shame.
I'm travelling down to my boyfriend's on Monday and I'll be staying for about a week, so I don't think I'll be able to post as much but we shall see. I do have a small July haul post planned so keep your eyes peeled for that if you're interested.
Because just watch the video. Amazing!
Amazing post, lovely pictures <333

Thank you so much doll! It is taking sooo long but I am determined :)
DeleteLovely outfit! The shoes are such a cute and special touch. I knitted a scarf last year and actually "only" spent six months on it, but only because I had set my mind on finishing it come winter. I was so impatient that I stopped too early so it ended up being a little bit too short for my liking.... Knitting problems!
ReplyDeletexx Mimmi, Muted Mornings
Haha, knitting problems! I wish I had done the same but I just kept forgetting.
DeleteOoh thank you so much Charlotte!
ReplyDeleteBahah the knitting oh my gosh I can't do anything crafty at all! Love your jellies :)
ReplyDeleteAww thank you Amanda :) Yeah knitting is a such a pain
