Denim Jacket - Hand me down
Hello there! So I thought I'd just dive straight into this whole blogging lark with an outfit that I wore to town the other day. It was quite a muggy day so finding this denim jacket in my wardrobe was perfect. I've had this denim number for years and was my sister's before mine so it ain't doing too badly, bless. I paired it with my favorite go-to skirt which I picked up in a charity shop when I was in New Zealand last summer. The skirt was originally a weird calf length that I promptly chopped down. I left the edge raw and just sewed a straight stitch a quarter inch away from the edge just to stop it fraying all the way up my arse. The belt was an absolute steal at only £2 from a vintage shop in Leeds which is now sadly closed down. Anyway, lets just take a moment to appreciate this T-shirt... cos it is freaking awesome. It is, admittedly, from Primark which I do try my best to avoid but I just couldn't leave the shop without this top, especially as my friend said she'd buy it as part of my birthday present. It's also got a cat on it. And who doesn't love cats?
Right, enough of a ramble. Hope I post on here again and it doesn't all go to pot like my last blog. Ha!
